Story: Zola had babies under an abandoned shed
Zola is a sweet, low-key girl who has mastered the art of relaxation. Her favorite things include stretching out in a warm sunbeam, lounging on her dog bed, taking peaceful walks around the pond, and spending time with her people! She absolutely adores children and has formed a deep bond with her foster family’s kids. Zola also enjoys playing with other dogs after a proper introduction and has done wonderfully with both a family Golden Retriever and a young German Shepherd puppy. She shows zero interest in cats and would much rather spend her days “working from home” by snoozing on the floor near her humans!
Zola is house-trained with a perfect track record, she hasn’t had a single accident in her foster home! She has excellent name recall, sleeps soundly on a dog bed in her foster family’s bedroom, and is known for enjoying a little extra sleep in the mornings. While she isn’t a fan of her crate, she has been making steady progress and simply needs a family willing to give her patience and grace as she continues to build confidence. One of her cutest quirks is her “sneaky snake” routine, where she rubs her belly through the grass with pure joy. She also loves carrying toys over to her people as a way of showing affection. Zola is a loyal, loving companion who is happiest when she’s close to the people she loves.
