Meet Wylie, a petite pit mix with a heart as big as they come! At just around 31 pounds, this little girl is expected to stay on the smaller side. Don’t let the reputation of her breed fool you, Wylie is 100% sweet, and she’s ready to find a family to call her own!

Wylie’s story started out on the streets as a stray, but she’s discovered just how wonderful life can be when you’re safe, loved, and surrounded by friends. Now, her favorite things include snuggling on the couch with her humans, watching TV with her doggy buddies, and soaking up all the love she can get.

She’s always happy to enjoy a good game of tug-of-war, chase, or fetch when the mood strikes. She also loves her chew toys! And when playtime is over? She’s perfectly content to kick back, relax, and enjoy a lazy afternoon with her favorite people and pups. Wylie is friendly with other dogs and kids, and she absolutely loves people. She’s also a smart girl who’s learning her basic manners, including commands like “sit” and “wait.” She responds well to gentle correction and genuinely wants to please her people. She’s potty trained and does well in the house with supervision. At bedtime, she willingly heads into her crate to sleep, and she patiently waits for her meals in her crate, too. She’s not food-aggressive and is learning what it means to be a well-mannered family member.

One thing to know about Wylie is that she’s a little lovebug who doesn’t enjoy being alone. She would do best in a home where someone is around to give her companionship, and having another friendly dog to keep her company would be a wonderful bonus… even during crate time.
