Story: Wesley was rescued from a rural shelter

Wesley is a happy go lucky pup who loves to learn. He’s a 1 year old doodle mix! He was recently saved right before his euthanasia. He loves hard and will do anything to please his humans! Due to his past sometimes it just takes him a little longer to catch onto certain things.

He’s never met a stranger (human or 4 legged). We don’t know his past, but he is quickly learning how to be inside and working on his indoor manners. He is mostly potty trained if monitored and let out frequently. He stays in his crate during the day while his foster mom is at work, and will sleep in it at night if he needs to. Although he prefers to sleep with his people (he sleeps through the night better this way).

Wesley would benefit having another dog in the house. Due to his size and energy a larger younger dog would be best. He is still learning to not jump so a home with older kids would be best! He enjoys walking, working on tricks, and splashing in his pool. Wesley has not been cat tested but the way he chases his weenie foster brother, he probably would do better without them. If you’re looking for someone to love you hard and make all your days entertaining he’s your guy!
