Story: Velvet was surrendered to us by her owner with her puppies

Velvet loves to snuggle, play, and gossip about everything happening in the neighborhood! Although she had a rough start, living and having her puppies in a car, she has become the sweetest houseguest. She is house-trained and pee-pad-trained. She loves to snuggle all night and does well in her crate. She is great on walks and loves car rides. 

When not following her foster parents around she is playing with her four dachshund foster sisters. Velvet is very gentle with her toys and is currently loving her new squeaky ball. She would do best in a home with no cats since she loves a game of chase! Velvet is a very smart girl and has already learned to sit. She is eager to please and will make a fantastic buddy to someone very special!
