Meet Thunderbolt! This smart, resilient pup has come a long way since being rescued from a shed where he was fending for himself alongside his sister, Valentina. In the beginning, he wasn’t sure how to trust people, but now he’s wagging his tail when he sees his foster family, cautiously greeting over with excitement, and starting to embrace all the joys of puppy life. He sleeps through the night in his crate, uses potty pads like a pro, and loves treats and squeaky toys. Because Thunderbolt and Valentina were considered flight risks early on, they haven’t spent a ton of time outside yet—but they’re happy being around other dogs and love watching their foster mom interact with them. Now that Thunderbolt no longer has to worry about finding food or protecting his sister, he’s learning to enjoy the simple pleasures he deserves: playtime, cuddles, and a life filled with all the love.
