Story: Thelma was saved from an outdoor shelter

Thelma is a sweet, fun-loving little girl who starts every day with a happy heart. She wakes up ready to make her rounds, greeting her foster siblings and humans with pure joy. She sometimes carries a little stuffed lamb around like it’s one of her babies and is just beginning to show more interest in toys and treats.

She is kennel-trained but prefers to stay out with her foster siblings. Thelma sleeps soundly through the night, either in her own bed or under yours. She enjoys kids and has a playful (sometimes bossy) side with the other dogs in the house. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but she seems like she would get along just fine.

Thelma is house-trained as long as she’s let out regularly. She hasn’t quite learned how to ask to go outside yet, but she’ll start sniffing and circling when she needs a potty break. She can be a bit shy around adult males at first and may take some time to warm up to them. Thelma is a true gem and would make a wonderful addition to any loving family.
