Sandy was one of 10 dogs we welcomed from a heartbreaking hoarding case in rural Oklahoma. Most of the dogs we took in, including Sandy, are heartworm positive.

It’s a scary diagnosis—even though she sometimes acts like any happy, tail-wagging pup learning about love & TLC, heartworms are quietly putting stress on her heart and lungs and she doesn’t always feel good.

Sandy is calm, affectionate, and so ready to start over. She just needs this final boost to get her heart healthy and her life back on track. She was already failed once—we can’t let her down again. We owe her more than just survival, she deserves full healing. Let’s not stop halfway there.
