Meet Rufus! Rufus is on the hunt for his very best human friend, the kind of person he can follow around, snuggle up next to, shower with kisses, and simply be by their side. His foster mom calls him a total Velcro dog, and honestly, he wears the title proudly! Whether she’s working at her desk, heading outside, or just moving from room to room, Rufus is happiest when he gets to tag along. He loves chew toys, treats, snuggles, and most of all, his people!

Rufus does wonderfully with kids and other dogs, but he’d also be perfectly happy being the star of the show in his forever home. He currently lives with a cat and does great because he mostly knows to give her space. Car rides and crates make him a little nervous because, in Rufus’s opinion, why go anywhere or be separated when he could be home with his favorite people?! He’s looking for a family who wants a sweet, loyal companion who will be right there for all the little moments and we have a feeling Rufus will be your new best friend.
