Newmie loves to play! Toys, other dogs, even the cat… if you are willing to play, Newmie is your boy! He loves children and playing with them as well. He has recently completed heartworm treatment and loves to be able to run and play with everyone now. He also loves a good treat, any treat. If it is edible, he will gladly eat it!

Newmie is fully crate trained and enjoys sleeping in it surrounded by a blanket and a few toys. He is doing great with potty training and likes to sit outside and sunbathe for a bit after he is done. He can be a bit skiddish at first, but all it takes is some love and a few treats and he warms up quickly! He has not been in the car a lot as he has just completed his heartworm treatment and we didn’t want to over excite him. He is still working on leash training but is a very smart boy and is quick to pick up on new things.

He loves a good chin scratch like it is a belly rub. Newmie is a very good boy that would make a great best friend for just about anyone, but would likely do best with an active family or one with children/other animals to play with!
