Story: Porter was rescued from the shelter as pup and recently surrendered by his owner under poor living conditions

Meet Porter! This lover boy is PERFECT. He loves everyone he meets and greets you with a smile (or a hug)! His favorite thing is to be next to his people, whether it’s a card ride, a walk, lounging on the couch or sitting outside! He also loves dogs and making new friends after proper introductions! Playing chase in the backyard is his JAM. After playing he loves to plop on the couch and relax. He has gotten along with all of his foster siblings and is besties with them!

He does jump when excited but is easily correctable! His favorite things in the WORLDDDD are toys, bones, naps on his person, watching the world go by out the front window, car rides & cuddles! He definitely can act like a puppy at 5 years old but still knows when it’s time to settle down!

He is trusted outside of the kennel just fine and prefers to sleep on the couch at night! He is fully potty trained and knows basic commands like sit/shake! Porter knows how to tell you what he wants and when he wants it! He is VERY well behaved. He will make someone the best friend in the world and they’ll be very lucky to have him!
