Story: Perrie and her siblings were found on a porch

Perrie is sweet, gentle, and incredibly loving. She can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she becomes your little shadow, following you everywhere! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a true family friendly companion.

Perrie is crate and potty trained, and she’s learning all the fun parts of being a puppy… playing with toys, interacting with other puppies in the house, and enjoying her time outside. She is affectionate, eager to learn, and absolutely precious, she’ll steal your heart in no time!

Medical Information: Perrie did have Leptospirosis. After a hospitalization, medication, and some time she is happily Lepto-free and available again! Her kidneys were affected by the disease, and we are unsure at this time if they will fully recover. We are hopeful that with some time on a kidney diet, her kidneys will recover to full function without any long-term implications but we can’t be sure. Her forever family should be ready to take her to a bloodwork recheck, and be prepared that a kidney-friendly diet may be best for her long term.
