Story: Mena was found chained up in a hoarding case

Mena is a sweet, silly girl looking to find her best friend(s). At 30 lbs and 5 years old, she is the perfect size and age! She is fully potty trained and knows how to use a doggie door. She sleeps all night in her kennel and does fine in there when her foster family is away. She is learning to go to the kennel but is easy to coax in with a treat. Since Mena came from a hoarding situation and life in a chain, it takes her a little while to feel safe and secure, so she might be skittish or guard resources a little at first. However, she takes redirection well and improves constantly. She is still learning some house manners, but she wants to please and makes strides every day. She is a snuggler and a goofball! She enjoys walks and playing but isn’t super high energy. She enjoys chasing backyard critters and napping on the couch. Mena gets along well with other respectful dogs with good introductions! She is untested with cats and recommended for older kids!
