Story: Karma was rescued from OKCAW after being saved from cruelty case
Karma came from a rough beginning, but she is learning more and more every day that the world can be a safe place. She can be nervous around fast-moving objects, such as doors closing quickly, and cars are still a work in progress. She may drool when nervous in the car and is hesitant to approach vehicles, but she is improving with patience and positive experiences. Karma is good with dogs of all sizes and is a gentle girl, although she does not always realize her own strength, especially when she gets startled. She is good on a leash when she feels comfortable, kennel trained, and fully potty trained. Outside, Karma loves to strut around and show off her gorgeous long legs, and despite her size, she is a big baby who loves to be coddled.
She is good with kids, though older children may be the best fit simply because of her size. She has not been tested with cats, but she does well with small dogs, so she may do just fine with proper introductions. Karma has a preference for female dogs, she can coexist with submissive male dogs, but doesn’t enjoy a dominant male dog.
Karma is beginning to show her playful side and enjoys playing with dogs her own size, while preferring to leave the little ones alone. She is also fairly independent and does not need to have her people in sight at all times to feel comfortable. And if there is one thing Karma is never shy about, it is her love of food. She is a big foodie and will happily accept any opportunity for a snack.
