Jasper was saved from living outside just before the winter storm in January. He adjusted so quickly to the good life in a home, and we thought was ready for his forever home. Unfortunately at his vetting appointment, his Heartworm test came up positive.
If the worms in his heart are allowed to grow and multiply, it will literally cost his life. We can’t let that happen. He is such a survivor already. Help us, help him keep on surviving.

Jasper received his heartworm treatment and again we thought he was in the clear and he was just a couple of weeks ago from being available for adoption. But then, in April his fosters noticed some abnormal swelling near his injection site. He was rushed back into the vet, and put on more medication + more rest. We’re hopeful that things are finally looking back up for him!
