Story: Hunter was found as a stray

Despite Hunters rough start to life, he has blossomed into a happy, affectionate pup who loves everyone he meets! He is SWEET AND SMART. Hunter is both potty and crate trained. With just the shake of a treat bag or box, he happily runs into his crate, and he’s had zero accidents in the house. He currently sleeps peacefully in his crate through the night, though he’d be more than happy to trade it for a cozy spot in bed to cuddle with his people.

Hunter doesn’t resource guard and is wonderful at sharing toys and space. He’s very people-friendly, doesn’t know a stranger, and gets along great with other dogs. This playful pup has a happy-go-lucky personality and is always up for whatever his people are doing. He loves toys, especially chew toys! He can happily entertain himself with them.

On leash, Hunter can pull a little bit, but he’s eager to please and already responding well to training. He knows “sit” and sits patiently as he waits for treats or his meals. Hunter is food motivated and quite the foodie! He enjoys carrots and other veggies/fruits as treats. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a love for toys and a heart full of sunshine, Hunter is your guy.
