Flip Flop is a beautiful sweetheart who needs patience and love to learn to trust people and enjoy the security of home life. She came from a serious hoarding situation and is timid and shy in new situations. She has grown to love her foster humans, and has slowly learned to accept gentle pets, but is still wary of being touched. However, the progress she has made is significant compared to her first few days in a home. Patience and consistent, gentle treatment will continue to work wonders with her.

When Flip Flop takes a treat from your hand, she’s so gentle, it’s like a little whisper of silk brushing your palm. She is beautifully house trained and has had no accidents in the home once she figured out the door. She gets along well with her foster’s other dogs and enjoys playing outside or just chilling inside. She walks well on a leash. She is quite happy in a crate and sleeps in a crate with the door open in her foster home. She’s an easy dog to care for as she is so accustomed to being independent. But she does like to know that her trusted human is nearby.
