Story: Ellis was rescued from a 30+ dog abandoment case

Ellis is a super sweet but timid girl with the gentlest soul. She has grown close to her people and loves napping with them on the couch, but prefers to sleep cozily in the laundry room. She is potty trained and does well in her kennel or gated in the laundry room when her fosters are away. One of her cutest quirks is snuggling up with shoes and socks! Ellis is great with cats and dogs, but she can feel overwhelmed by kids and loud environments, as they make her nervous. She would probably due best in a home with older kids or adults only. She absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys spending most of her time outside, we think she would thrive in a home with a confident dog to help show her the ropes! She’s an angel on leash and loves adventuring, especially when water is involved. With a little time and patience, she learns to trust, and once she does, her favorite thing is rolling over for belly rubs, earning her the adorable nickname “Ellie Belly”!
