Elizabeth was a stray. Wandering, pregnant, and all alone with no shelter or nutrition. She found sanctuary in a stranger’s shed, and gave birth there. Only 2 babies made it, and the whole family was picked up by us at just a few days old. Elizabeth took great care of her girls, and has been gearing up for her forever home.

But at her wellness exam, the dreaded positive test result appeared. Heartworms.

We have no idea what Elizabeth’s life was like before or how she ended up pregnant and wandering alone, but know what we want it to be like now. We HAVE to get her this treatment, her life literally depends on it. If the worms in her heart are allowed to grow and multiply, it will literally cost her her life. We can’t let that happen. She is a perfect girl and is more than deserving of the best life ever. Help us, help her.
