Story: Dutton was rescued from a hoarding case

Dutton is an incredibly sweet boy who loves nothing more than being with his humans and playing with a good dog friend. He enjoys playing with big stuffed toys, exploring outside, and never gets tired of pets and belly rubs. He is very playful but enjoys just hanging out, too. He is great with all people and loves kids. Dutton lived his early puppyhood outdoors, so he is still learning the ropes of being an indoor dog, but he is quickly gaining confidence and has decided that he LOVES dog beds and air conditioning! Dutton hasn’t enjoyed leash walks yet because being on a leash is pretty scary, but with some patience he’ll master that too. He watches his foster dog siblings closely and copies what they do and his biggest hope is that he can have a dog brother or sister of his own when he gets his forever family. For nap time and overnight, Dutton sleeps quietly in a puppy pen. During the day, he is out and about in the house with his foster humans. He is working on potty training and most days has no accidents, as long as he is let out fairly frequently. Dutton will grow to be a big teddy bear and an amazing companion for his forever family!
