Story: Drake was adopted out as a pup, but recently returned due to no fault of his own

Drake is a big-hearted, easygoing dog who has adjusted wonderfully in his foster home! He is truly the FULL PACKAGE. He plays with the younger resident dog, respects the senior dog’s space, and greets both human and canine visitors with excellent manners! He enjoys fetching, quietly chewing toys, and sleeping in the bedroom at night… and he’s trustworthy loose in the house, even when left alone for hours. He’s the BEST BOY! 

This well trained boy knows sit, stay, come, shake, and lay down, and is exceptionally obedient. He walks nicely on a leash, loads easily, and is calm in the car Drake is learning to use the dog door but prefers a full sized door for now, adding to his charming personality. He has a deep, impressive bark but rarely uses it. 

Drake will thrive in a home that appreciates a gentle companion with great manners. He does best being fed separately in a kennel or designated space. With his sweet temperament and easygoing nature, he’s ready to make a wonderful addition to a lucky family!
