Meet D’Angelo, though he’ll happily answer to “Good Boy,” especially if you’re offering snuggles! This fluffy brown sweetheart looks like a little teddy bear and has a heart to match. D’Angelo is a gentle, mild-mannered companion who loves affection and being close to his people. He’ll curl up beside you on the floor or join you on the bed (with a little boost for now), happiest when he’s near his family. D’Angelo has a soft, easygoing play style and enjoys playing with other dogs once he feels comfortable. He’s housebroken and doing incredibly well, though he may still have an occasional accident as he continues learning, he’s picking things up quickly and just needs a little patience and consistency.

Right now, D’Angelo is in a really special stage of life, he’s learning how to be a dog. After spending his first year in a kennel with several other dogs, he’s just beginning to experience the world. And he’s embracing it with curiosity and joy. He’s learning to sit, fetch, take treats gently, and even figuring out how to jump onto beds, get into cars, and go upstairs. Every day brings something new, and he meets it with a sweet, willing spirit. He’s not a fan of crates, but he settles beautifully sleeping near his people. His soft double coat will need a bit of maintenance but it’s more than worth it for the incredible snuggling factor!
