Story: Connall was saved from the shelter

When Connall arrived to PHR, it was apparent that Connall had very little human interaction or touch. He was almost feral and extremely unsure of people and his surroundings. After having him for over a month, his fosters are finally starting to see more of his personality come out. Connall jumping on the couch for the first time was a big celebration, and watching him come inside from the yard by himself was huge. Those “little strides” are a lot for a dog like Connall, and we celebrate every single one of them! 

Connall loves his stuffy toys and will happily hoard them all in his crate. He is crate trained, house trained, and food motivated, but he is not leash trained yet. Connall adores playing with other dogs, and that’s when he really shines. When he’s excited, he does the cutest little bunny hops! We’re still learning everything about him, and Connall is still learning how to be a normal “dog.” He will need a patient and understanding home that is willing to continue working with him slowly and at his own pace. Connall has SO much love and personality to give. We just need to help bring it out of him!
