Caroline’s gentle nature stood out immediately when she arrived from a neglect case. Left to wander & roam with no real home base, raise some babies, limited access to food & water, and no affection— she still greets people with soft eyes & a hopeful tail wag.

Like so many neglected dogs in Oklahoma, Caroline is battling heartworm disease, and treatment will be slow & delicate. It’s not visible on the outside, but inside it’s dangerous, painful and can be fatal without treatment. But we believe Caroline’s best days are still ahead. She didn’t get the care she deserved in the past— but that changes now.
