Story: Brigitta was saved from an outdoor shelter

Brigitta is a gentle, tender-hearted girl with the sweetest soul once she feels safe.  She may be a little shy at first, but with time, patience, and a calm environment, her loving personality truly shines. She gets along wonderfully with her senior Shih Tzu foster sibling and doesn’t mind sharing her space with a parrot, she’s a peaceful little companion!

Brigitta will need a patient family who understands that trust takes time. She can be fearful of men and may need a slow, gentle introduction, but she has never shown any signs of aggression, just a sensitive heart learning to feel secure. She absolutely loves going on walks and does beautifully on a leash! At home, she’s trustworthy enough to free roam but often chooses the comfort of her crate as her safe space. Loud noises can startle her, so a quieter home would help her feel at ease.

One of her cutest quirks? She enjoys being pampered! Bath time, brushing, even trimming her curls, she handles it all like a little lady. Brigitta would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can stretch her legs, she’s surprisingly fast and loves to run and play, especially when her humans are outside with her. With love, patience, and understanding, Brigitta will blossom into the most loyal and loving companion.
