Hippo is a sweet goofy guy who loves playing with his big foster brothers. Hippo hasn’t met a toy he didn’t like, and can even entertain himself with a squeaky toy or a bone. When he gets his energy out he likes to snuggle up next to his people for a nap. Hippo approaches new situations with caution, he likes to take stock of any situation but then he jumps right in! Hippo is crate trained and sleeps through the night in his crate. Hippo is working on several commands, he is food motivated and learns fast! He is working on potty training and does well with routine and structure. Hippo has done well with the kids he has met. Hippo lives with cats, and is learning to respect their boundaries. He sometimes tries to play with them like they are another puppy so needs to be monitored. Hippo is a true delight who will make a great forever best friend for some lucky person or family!
