Story: Ash came to us as a stray

Ash LOVES his people and is happiest snuggled up next to you or with his head in your lap. He’s playful and affectionate, and has done great meeting adults and kids! 

Ash knows sit, let’s go, down, and is working on stay and leave it. He sleeps in his kennel at night and does best hanging out there with his Kong when he’s home alone. He’s a smart, curious boy who thrives with supervision and toys that keep his brain busy. He would be a great agility dog!  

Ash is working on staying calm when he sees other dogs and sometimes barks and pulls when he gets excited, but he’s making progress with redirection. He’ll need someone willing to keep working with him and take introductions with other dogs slowly. He would do best in a home without cats. Ash is really good about telling you when he needs to potty, and he always needs to go within 15-20 minutes after eating. Ash is a loving boy who just wants to be close to his people. He would do great with someone who doesn’t mind a curious boy tagging along with them around the house!
