Anna was saved from the euthanasia list at a high-kill city shelter. We got her and her kennel mate out and to safety. She made it to a foster home and just started learning about the good life. Just a heartworm test and a spay stood between her and adoption.

But then, two little lines changed everything. Her heartworm test was positive. Very positive. We had to put a pause on her moving towards being adoption ready. We have to get this taken care.

If we don’t, worms will take over her heart. It can cause permanent damage and even death. She’s such a young girl, we don’t want that for her. We need to get her treated as soon as possible.
