Story: Speckles was found as a pregnant stray

Meet Speckles! This sweet girl is around 30 lbs and is the mama to the Animal Party litter! In her dream home, Speckles would LOVE having at least one doggy sibling to keep her company. She’d also love some kiddo siblings, as long as they’re willing to give her a couple of weeks to decompress before getting too rambunctious around her. And don’t worry, Speckles will need a little time to decompress with her adult humans, too. But once she’s comfortable, she’s sure to love her people with her whole heart! 

A backyard would be amazing for all of Speckles’ zoomies, and her ideal setup would have a 6-foot privacy fence. Why so tall, you ask? Well, Speckles likes to think of herself as part mountain goat! Wondering how well she plays with others? The answer is… wonderfully! Sharing is caring in Speckles’ book. She absolutely loves being part of the fun and is happiest when she has a doggy friend to play alongside. 

Speckles already walks pretty well on a leash and will only continue to improve with positive reinforcement, patience, and consistency. Since she’s still young, she’s also learning the difference between what’s a toy and what’s off-limits. She’ll do best with supervision while her people are home and being crated when they’re away. And food? Absolutely her jam. She’s currently learning “sit,” “wait,” and “go to your room,” and once she gets the hang of those, she’d love to learn even more. She’s a smart girl, especially when treats are involved!
