Story: Asteri was an abandoned mama

Asteri is not only beautiful on the outside, but she is sweetheart! She has been a mother to at least several litters, and did have heartworm, but has gone through the treatment like a champ and is ready to romp her way into your heart(s). She reminds her foster of Tigger in Winnie the pooh, the way she loves to run and play like a puppy. She is very smart, but also stubborn. She knows her name, and the general commands: Sit, Stay, No, Come. She uses a kennel, but generally has free roam of the house day and night. She is completely house broken and knows to go outside on her own! She also uses a doggie door and can spend time in the yard without fear of digging or jumping the fence.

She walks good on the leash after a bit of excitement. She loves to go for car rides, and go get frozen yogurt. She plays well with others but can be possessive over “High valued treats”, so these can be fed separately. She has been introduced and spent time with a cat with an attitude and did great. She takes a bit to warm up to men, probably due to previous life style. Asteri would love an active life, with lots of time to just chill, and cuddle. She loves to snuggle up to you and lay her head in your lap and gaze at you adoringly.
