Lawrence is a sweet, loyal little guy who has been through a lot. After his owner passed away, he found himself in a shelter, but he hasn’t let that dim his loving spirit. Smaller than he appears in photos, Lawrence is happiest when he’s close to his people. Whether he’s curled up beside you on the couch, riding shotgun on a car ride, or heading out for a long walk and a new adventure, he’s always ready to be your faithful companion. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent manners around the home, never chewing on things he shouldn’t.

Lawrence adores people and has formed a special bond with his foster’s autistic teenage granddaughter. While he enjoys the company of humans, he prefers not to share food or compete for attention with other dogs and can be nervous around larger dogs. Although he is crate-trained, Lawrence will howl when left alone and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time! His ideal forever family will give him plenty of love, companionship, and a cozy spot on the couch or bed where he can snuggle up and feel safe!
