Lillibelle Medical Info

Lillibelle was a stray. Wandering, young, and all alone with no shelter or nutrition. She had to caught on the pole by animal control, she was so scared of humans. Then was set to be euthanized at a kill shelter. Until we stepped in!

Lilliebelle is terrified. She’s feral. She had to be fully sedated for her exam. She’s also heartworm positive.

A dog this young, this afraid of humans is devastating. Heartworms in a dog this afraid of humans is devastating. We can’t get her further training with the worms in her heart, so we’re pursuing treatment before anything else. Her foster family is working tirelessly to continue to gain her trust, and to get her healthy enough that we can help her even more.

For Lillibelle, this is literally life or death. Healing or heartbreak.

$500/$500 raised for Lillibelle’s heartworm treatment

After undergoing treatment, Lillibelle is still fighting. She’s what we’d classify as feral- she doesn’t really see the value in human people. She’s fine with coexisting, but it’s been hard to get her to adjust to home life. Because of that, we want to give Lillibelle some special training. Our foster home isn’t equipped to push her any more than we already have, and we want to set her up for success.
