Vincent’s life has been a total mystery. Him & 4 siblings were randomly dumped at a gas station in January. In the wet cold and all alone at just 8 weeks old. The others were small, cold, and hungry. But Vincent was by far the worst off.
Not only did Vincent appear blind, with underdeveloped eyes, but he was pale, he was weak, and his coat was in such poor condition his penis was sloughing off. We rushed Vincent to our veterinary partners where he was stabilized and hospitalized. A blood transfusion, a cocktail of meds, and several days later he was ready for a foster home.
We thought he was in the clear, his penis was intact & healed, he was stronger, and he was more energetic. Then he started having seizures. A few vet visits later and we still had no answers for Vincent. As they escalated, so did we. Vincent was hospitalized for 4 days and put on IV medications, including seizure control.
Vincent’s out of the hospital and doing well back at home on his medications now, but we didn’t raise nearly enough to cover his bill. While Vincent is safe, not being able to cover his hospitalization directly impacts how we can show up for future dogs in need. Can you help us, help Vincent?
$1500/$2500 raised for Vincent’s emergency care.
