Story: Mika was rescued from an outdoor shelter
Meet Mika! This sweet girl is basically a cat in a dog’s body. She may be a little nervous at first, but once she settles in and feels safe, her gentle and affectionate personality really shines. It took her about a week to fully relax in her foster home, and now she loves being held, getting belly rubs, and being pampered. She’s a quiet, easygoing companion who’s happiest just lounging nearby and soaking up love.
Mika is completely potty trained and does great in a crate while her people are away. At night, she sleeps peacefully on a dog bed in the bedroom. She’s not much of a playful pup and isn’t very treat motivated, she’s more of a laid-back “hang out and relax” kind of girl. Mika is dog friendly with pups of all sizes and is estimated to be around 20 pounds. We’re not sure how she is with cats, but based on her calm personality, we think she’d likely just mind her own business! She’s truly an easy, adorable little companion looking for a cozy forever home.
