Noel is the definition of sweet and soulful. He may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but give him time to decompress and settle into a routine, and you’ll quickly see his loving, affectionate side shine. Once he feels safe, he’s all about the hugs, cuddles, and being close to his person! He’s crate trained, house trained, and potty trained, a total gentleman in the home. Noel does well with cats and mostly ignores them. He would thrive in a home with slightly older kiddos; younger, high-energy children can make him a bit anxious, though he does wonderfully with the 9-year-old in his foster home! 

Noel loves running and playing tug-of-war with other dogs, but he also has a calm, easygoing side and knows when it’s time to relax. He’s happiest curled up on the couch with you or resting at your feet. Because he was previously abandoned, Noel needs a patient and understanding adopter who can help him feel secure, especially at mealtime, as he prefers someone nearby while he eats. He just wants reassurance that he’s safe and home for good. With his gentle spirit, loyal heart, and signature big hugs, it’s impossible not to fall in love with Noel.
