Story: Princess was rescued from a breeder shutting down

Princess is a devoted companion even with a difficult past. She came from a breeder where she grew up in a kennel and never experiencing the outside world. Because of this, she does have some quirks due to fear but if you choose her, she will love you so big.

She wants to be near her people. It takes her a few minutes to warm up to a new person but she quickly decides that she is your best friend and wants to be with you always. She is happier when her people are nearby!

Princess is an active girl. Being young, she has lots of energy. She loves going on walks but is still working on leash training/distractions on walks and needs redirection. She gets the zoomies and loves to run in the yard. She is very fast and athletic. She also loves to play with toys and other dogs. She is also very smart and ready to learn! She learns fast and is extremely treat motivated. She knows “sit,” “down,” “place,” and “stay” although she is still working on the last one. She is potty trained and crate trained. Princess is still working on manners with jumping and would not be the best fit with small children. She has had some professional training but needs continued support to work on those manners.

She would need slow introductions with other dogs. Princess can have some resource guarding with other dogs. However when she was at a training facility, she got along with other dogs very well and loved playing with them and enjoys her other doggy foster siblings in the home. We think she would thrive with a doggy friend but needs slow introductions due to fear.

Princess is very loving and deserves the best life. We’re hoping the right person is out there to show her just how good the world can be!
