We’ve got parvo :(.
Our sweet girl, Ravioli, broke with parvo quick and hard. She had an almost 104 degree fever, really high for a 4.5 week old puppy. She needed to be hospitalized for several days.
Ravioli is part of a litter of FIVE puppies. We’ve started treatment in her siblings to try to keep them strong and to fight this off before they need to be hospitalized as well. With them being in our nursery, this has required alot of creativity, alot of protective supplies, and SO MUCH cleaning. We’re in desperate need of gloves, gowns, shoe covers, and as many bottles of rescue as we can store.
On top of that, the babies + their mama are fighting resistant hookworms and need deep treatment for those to help them keep fighting! Our team has come together to make homemade food for everyone, and they’re providing as much TLC as we can muster. But we need help covering the funds for all of this!
UPDATE: Ravioli is back home with her siblings, and they are all doing really well! Her hospitalization didn’t cost as much as we were originally quoted ($1,500), so that’s covered at least! Now the quarantine and the cleaning begins, while we still keep a close eye on them and ensure they remain happy & healthy babies!
$850/$1000 raised for Fettuccine, Rigatoni, Ravioli, Macaroni, Linguine, and Tortellini.
Update July 12: All of our parvo puppies are THRIVING! They’ve left for foster homes and are almost ready for their forevers! We’ve raised the funds we’ve needed for medical care, but are still hoping to raise a bit more to help cover the cleaning supplies and other items we need to replace to help minimize cross-contamination.
PS. mama Fettuccine is still in need of a foster home…..
