Margarita is a quiet survivor. She was one of 40+ dogs living in neglect. Now she’s learning about affection and leaning into it like she’s been starved of it—because she has been.
But behind her sweet face, she’s suffering. Heartworms are spreading through her bloodstream, threatening her heart & her future. This disease doesn’t look dramatic on the outside—but it is. Without treatment, her heart will give out.
Despite it all, Margarita is a total lovebug. She deserves to grow old. She deserves belly rubs, not slow organ failure. We can save her and so many others just like her, but we need the funds to do it.
