Nox was born with 4 legs working normally. Around 8 weeks old, she began losing function of her back two legs, as well as bowel/bladder control. We originally thought she was missing vertebrae in her back legs and would be paralyzed and a candidate for surgery. But we realized that wasn’t the case! The vertebrae in her lower spine are compressed. We quickly got her into acupuncture therapy and water therapy.
She is doing amazing in acupuncture and physical therapy and has regained SO much mobility in her back legs! She is still learning to run around with all her foster siblings and live life like a normal dog. She goes outside on her own now! She truly deserves the best family, we know they are out there. But we need to raise more money so she can continue her therapies. These therapies have single handedly changed her life. We would love for Nox to live as close to a normal life as possible. Please help us keep her in therapy!
