Story: Watermelon was rescued from a hoarding case

Watermelon is the definition of a girls girl. She follows her foster mom everywhere she goes. She is leery of men (who isn’t) and can be scared of tall men with hats. She does wonderful with the other dogs in the house and would love to have another dog in the home! She doesn’t love the car and needs to be taken out to go potty before any car ride. 

She is gentle with the kid in the home but quick movements startle her. She is VERY food motivated and isn’t the most gentle when taking treats. This is most likely due to her past! Watermelon is potty trained when let out regularly and knows how to use a doggie door. She has a TON of love to give, but needs someone who will go at her pace until she is comfortable in her new home! She’s such a deserving girl.
