Tallie is a 1 year old lab mix and is very special girl! She thrives being near her human and loves pets and cuddles.
Unfortunately, Tallie was diagnosed with sub-aortic stenosis, which is the narrowing of the aortic valve in her heart. This results in her heart having to work much harder. Tallie has been given a life expectancy of 1-2 years. Tallie deserves a home that will continue showing her unconditional love every day of her life, however long!
Despite this diagnosis, Tallie is still a 1 year old puppy with so much spirit and love to give! Tallie is the best girl! She is gentle, loving and wants nothing more than to be near her human! She definitely has our whole heart! She gets along great with other dogs and is wonderful with children. She is housebroken and crate trained and will “kennel up” when told to, but can be trusted to be out of her crate for short periods while you’re away from home. She is crated while her foster is at work. Tallie enjoys a good chew toy and loves her stuffed animals. She sleeps in the bed with her human as she feels safest when she can be near you and touch you. She is very fearful of thunderstorms. She does great on a leash and enjoys her walks. She’s also a great shotgun rider and enjoys being in the car. We can not say enough wonderful things about this sweet girl, she truly is a dream dog. She will need a fenced yard. With her condition she will need a little lower key household, can be somewhat active but she does tire easily. She is on medication 2x a day and is VERY affordable. If there is someone who can see past her health condition, they will be getting the most wonderful, loyal companion.
