Story: Stumpleton wandered up to a school in pretty rough condition and was never claimed.

Stumpleton, aka Stumpy is the biggest love bug-hippo hybrid you’ll ever meet! He loves all dogs and and falls in love with every person as soon as he lays eyes on them! He knows sit and is working on stay, is crate trained, and walks well on a leash after he gets his initial excitement out! He is a playful dog and LOVES his foster dog siblings, but is also very respectful and submissive when they assert their boundaries. He is playful with cats, so would do best in a home without them or a home that has a playful kitty! He would do better in a home that has children older than 5, just because he gets really excited and is a little clumsy and chunky on top of that. Speaking of chunky, he sometimes snores in his sleep or snorts when he’s really excited, and it’s the cutest thing! He gets very excited but also gets very tired very quickly; sometimes during training he just lays down so he can stop walking. He is crated for about 8.5 hours a day with no problem, and he does sleep in his crate at night as well, but would LOVE to sleep in bed with you. He is a silly, clumsy, happy, wonderful boy, and he would love to love you!
