Story: Pudding was rescued from a breeder shutdown

Pudding is a very sweet, happy girl who loves affection and being petted. She can be a bit nervous and shy at first, but with time and patience she warms up beautifully. She will need slow, thoughtful introductions to both people and other dogs as she settles into her new home.

Pudding is still adjusting to the comforts of home life and is doing well learning what it means to be a cherished family dog. She can be trusted when left out while you’re away or overnight. She is still working on potty training and continues to make progress. She absolutely loves treats and is just discovering how fun toys can be.

 She does not do well with cats and she will attempt to herd things smaller than her. For this reason, we don’t recommend her for a home with kids 8 and under. She also likes to play hard and would do best with dogs her size! She can attempt to be alpha and will resource guard, so we also recommend a submissive playmate.

Curious and gentle, Pudding enjoys exploring the world around her at her own pace. One look into her sweet eyes, and it’s impossible not to fall in love with this special girl. Pudding does shed, but significantly less than most dogs, and her unique coat will require regular grooming.
