Malia will undergo a knee surgery in the coming weeks! This is a surgery that will slow her down for recovery, but she should however make a great recovery! She is a young, fit pup and will be ready to play as soon as she is rehabilitated. We want the best for Malia, and her surgery is costly. ALL ABOUT MALIA: Malia is all things fun and sweet. Malia was rescued from a rural shelter. She was so scared that she would hide in a box which led to her often being overlooked by families and sitting for months waiting for help to come along. Fortunately, her sweet face caught the eye of Puppy Haven and the rest is history! She knows “sit” and “kennel”. Malia is a small and petite girl, weighing around 27lbs and 1.5yrs old. She is working on not jumping and manners, so she would do best in a home with kiddos who are 8 years and up. Malia loves running in the yard or chasing ball, she would do best with other dogs in the home and a fenced in yard. She loves to snuggle in bed with you and also play with her doggy friends. She is house and crate trained. She plays great with dogs and loves her humans so much. Malia is treat motivated and eats in her kennel, stays in it during the day while her foster family is at work, but does sleep with them in bed at night. She can be slow to warm up but with a little bit of time and yummy treats she will be your best friend!
