Meet Laurel, a small 30 lb Australian Cattle Dog mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality! Laurel’s a star in her crate, loves walks and toy time, and quick to learn. True to her breed, she thrives when she has a job to do… she’s happiest using her brain! Her self appointed job is Keeper of the House, watching all passerby’s from the front window.

She loves playing with her foster sister and listens when the cat tells her to leave him alone. She dos great with structure, and clear routines. Laurel would love an active home that’s excited to keep up her training and join her adventures. She loves to get her energy out! More than anything, she loves to give you endless love, loyalty, snuggles and laughs! She’s very smart, improving with commands, and loves to please her people.

After living in boarding she has adjusted to home life really well. She’s getting into the flow of the schedule of the house. She loves every toy she can get a hold of and has quickly learned where they are kept. She likes playing tug of war with the other dog in the house, but is better at playing fetch with humans. She is both treat and praise motivated. She is crated when we are gone and crated at night. With time I think she would be safe to be left out. Her favorite thing is being a watch dog and prefers to eat her meals in bed. No joke, she moved her bowl to the bed in front of the window and only wants to eat there now.

Laurel really just wants to snug up, give kisses and be loved on. Plus have every toy there is to have in the house. 10/10 dog. Everyone who meets this girl just falls in love!
