Story: Eliana was abandoned by her owners, left on the front doorstep for animal control to pick up

Eliana is a beautiful 6-year-old Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as her fluffy coat! This gentle girl was born with a congenital defect in her front right leg, which resulted in a deformed paw. Because of this, Eliana walks with a slight limp—but don’t let that fool you! She’s strong, resilient, and still enjoys lounging in the sunshine.

Eliana is fully crate and potty trained and has excellent house manners. She’s a calm, loving presence who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children. Whether she’s snuggling up with her people or keeping watch over the yard with her classic Pyrenees dignity, Eliana brings peace and warmth wherever she goes.

The cutest thing about her is she waves with her little hand when she is excited to see you!

She’s looking for a family who will love her just as she is and offer her a safe, comfy place to call home forever. Eliana takes some time to warm up so will need someone with patience to give her the time needed to decompress. Eliana may walk a little differently, but she loves just the same—and maybe even more.
