Story: Darby was dumped in Kellyville with her newborn pups

Darby is the sweetest girl around! She can be wary of new situations at first, but once she has some time to take it in she is the goofiest and most loving dog in town. Darby knows sit, come when called, and shake. She’s potty and crate trained and is very treat motivated. Darby eats in her crate- after being dumped and having to fight for food, she appreciates having her own space to savor and take her time with her meals. She stays in her crate when her foster family leaves, since she’s still learning about house life she is likely to play with things that aren’t her toys if left to her own devices.

Darby loves her people so big and would do amazing with or without other dogs in the house. She is so attentive to her humans and always has an eye or an ear on them. She does love to put her feet on you as a way of greeting so is still working on some manners, but is luckily a smaller girl so doesn’t run the risk of accidentally hurting anyone. Darby has recently enjoyed playing with her foster siblings and learning what toys are all about, and has no interest or issues with the cat. She’s a very communicative lady so you’ll know if something is wrong. Since she can be timid at first, her perfect home would be ready to respect her space when she needs it, continue to socialize her so sage can make new friends, would love to play with her (tug or just general running around), and have endless snuggles & kisses for her.
