Annie is a female lab/pit mix around 4 and a half years old. She and her brother were recently surrendered to us by their owner. Annie is a laid-back family’s dream come true! She is a calm, sweet tempered girl who mostly just wants to nap all day. She is house-trained and crate-trained. She is able to be left out of her crate during the day while her people are off running errands, but she is more than glad to take a car ride. Annie naps most of the day, goes on an evening walk and is ready for bed after that. She sleeps all night upstairs in her crate at her foster’s house. And if she’s had her evening walk, she will sleep in! Annie doesn’t bark, chew, jump, or beg for food. She is the best dog ever! She used to be a puller when on a leash but has become an excellent walker using a gentle leader. She is very interested in rabbits while on walks, so probably wouldn’t do well in a home with cats. She would do best as an only dog. She loves to have her ears and neck scratched, but doesn’t love to be hugged or cuddled too closely, so would probably need to be in a home with older children. If you are looking for a loving and restful companion, Annie is your girl.
